So it's been a really long time since I've done a blog post and honestly I have missed it a lot! I have so much fun looking back on previous posts with Jack and seeing how quickly he has grown. So I've decided to jump back into the blogging world if for no other reason than to enjoy looking back at life.
So a brief update to our family....
Jack will be one in a few months (what!??!) I can't even believe it. We have slowly but surly started the planning process and it just makes me want to cry thinking about the fact that my little newborn is such a big boy. Jack is standing up on his own and cruises around furniture like a mad man but still hasn't taken enough steps for me to consider him "walking". Chad and I will sit in the floor with him and see if he will walk back and forth but that usually consists of Jack taking two steps and diving forward into our arms.
He is a major jabber box and loves his "dada" "mama" and "baba". He still only has his two little bottom teeth and we keep swearing that his top two will bust through any day but they still haven't. He is pretty much eating everything now... chicken, beef, fruits veggies, etc. He recently discovered how to feed the dogs and super cracks himself up but it's not great for trying to achieve a full tummy.
Chad and I have officially started trying for baby #2 and I have really contemplated whether or not I wanted to mention this only because we are a few months in a still unsuccessful. I am still breastfeeding and planning on continuing until Jack is 1 so I'm thinking that is playing a role in it. We are trying (even though it is hard) to trust that God's plan is bigger than ours and when HIS timing is right we will get our nugget #2.
I am tossing around the idea of doing a few little "day in the life" videos for friends and family that don't live close to see baby Jack in action. But until then, pictures will have to do.
I don't really want to feel the pressure of blogging as far as attempting to organize themes or have a posting schedule because I want this to be fun and not a burden.
